The following photographs are a history of the men and women who competed in track and field for Western State College from 1971-2007. The 27 RMAC championships in track and field and cross country and the 8 men’s and 4 women’s national championships in cross country are a testimony to the discipline, hard work, dedication and will to win of all the athletes I was privileged to coach. Our motto was and will always be: “good person, good student, good athlete – in that order.”
